$33•35 hourly Overview Seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Design Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to develop, improve, test, and support products that meet customer and market requirements. Responsibilities Collaborate with manufacturing and other internal teams to develop products that meet market and customer requirements. Support product research and development, including concept investigation and new-product design. Identify and implement improvements to existing products. Create conceptual sketches, layouts, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation. Coordinate the development of engineering drawings for prototypes, manufacturing, customer quotations, and design changes. Perform product testing, evaluation, and analysis in support of product design and applications. Prepare and present technical reports, application information, and project updates as needed. Assist with short-term special projects, including customer-specific designs and product modifications. Participate in corporate and team process-improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Support department, division, and company goals through active teamwork and collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, or a related accredited engineering program required. Electronic or electromechanical design experience will be considered. Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively work within deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and interact effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Computer literacy and comfort learning engineering software and related tools.
