About Us:
We are a leading consumer products manufacturer based in Fairfield, New Jersey, designing and producing innovative products for major retailers across the country. We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Packaging Designer/ Graphic Designer to join our in-house Art Department. The ideal candidate has strong experience in consumer product packaging design, enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and is skilled at turning creative concepts into shelf-ready packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop consumer product packaging , including boxes, blister cards, clamshells, trays, and other formats. Create mock-ups for buyer meetings, line reviews, and presentations. This is a must! Work with packaging die lines , ensuring designs are print-ready and meet structural requirements. Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Sales to execute consistent brand messaging and packaging strategies. Use KeyShot for 3D product rendering and visualization. This is a must! Design point-of-purchase displays , catalog templates , and other marketing collateral. Participate in concept development, layout, illustration, and final digital art preparation. Stay current with packaging trends, retail aesthetics, and competitive designs. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment .
Requirements:
4+ years of professional graphic design experience, in a consumer products or packaging environment. This is a must! Proven expertise in packaging design, layout, and print production. Strong understanding of packaging structures, die lines, and prepress file setup. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) . Experience with KeyShot 3D rendering and visualization strongly preferred. Familiarity with Mac OS X workflow. Strong grasp of color theory, typography, and branding principles. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to work full-time and on-site in our Fairfield, NJ office. Illustration, photography, or video skills are a plus.

$70,000 per year
