Accessibility Design Contractor - 100% Remote#26-07844 Rochester, MN Remote Contract Starts 8/03/2026 Ends 8/02/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an Accessibility Design Contractor for a remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation:
$65.00 - $67.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
As an Accessibility Design Contractor, you will support multiple product pods within the Digital Product Organization. You will partner with product designers and engineers to review designs and implementations for
WCAG 2.2
AApliance, perform manual accessibility testing, and help ensure accessibility standards are consistently applied across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with product designers and engineers to review designs and code for accessibilitypliance Perform manual accessibility testing using JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack Support accessibility reviews within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Document findings using established audit and Jira processes Ensure accessibility standards are consistently applied across multiple product teams Analyze research findings to plan and deliver Use Cases, User Journeys, and Information Architecture Create and deliver Storyboards, Wireframes, Prototypes, and Design Specifications Facilitate Design Workshops and synthesize ideas into a cohesive Design Proposal
Primary Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in Design with demonstrated impact Strong working knowledge of
WCAG 2.2 AA
Manual accessibility testing experience using JAWS and NVDA (Windows/Web), VoiceOver (iOS), and TalkBack (Android) Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), includingponent-level authoring and content review Experience using Figma for design review and annotations Experience using Jira for defect tracking and workflow management Ability to work independently across multiple product teams Understanding of the Human Centered Design (HCD) process High School diploma/GED
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG) Experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar) to improve accessibility workflows Experience ing accessibility guidance within a design system Experience with additional CMS platforms (Sitecore, Contentful, Drupal) Experience contributing to AEMponent libraries Experience training or enabling content authors on accessible authoring practices Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
