Coordinate with internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and program teams, as well as external suppliers, to drive design changes and resolve open issues. Manage program timing, track deliverables, and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders. Support new product development activities, including design reviews, DFMEA, validation planning, and launch readiness. Travel as needed (generally up to 10% overnight) to supplier locations or other facilities to support builds, reviews, and issue resolution. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering (engineering discipline required; engineering technology degrees are not accepted). 5-7 years of experience in engineering with a focus on design release, program management, new product development, or body engineering. 3 or more years of experience with bumper, fascia, grille, or exterior trim components preferred; related automotive body component experience considered.
