POSITION SUMMARY
Our Merchandising Specialists leverages their industrial design backgrounds and ability to conceptualize in 3D and develop innovative temporary pre-packed consumer product displays that force shoppers to stop and engage. These experts have the talents and the expertise of engineers, creative elites, and marketers to turn a concept into an impactful experience for the consumer. Our Merchandising Specialist develops concepts and design specs, provide advice on artwork based on printing methods, generate promotional packaging specifications, test for structural integrity, manage supplier and co-packer relationships and interface with various internal and external groups to take each project to market.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver temporary promotional packaging materials and temporary, pre-packed retail merchandise vehicles that can withstand supply chain handling and assure visual impact through product presentation that adheres to each customers guidelines and exceeds the expectations of marketing, factories, purchasing, quality assurance, co-packers, customers, and shoppers. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, vendors and factories while leading structural design as part of a multidisplinary team Develop and provide innovative, structurally sound, cost effective prepacked merchandise vehicles that convey our product's features and benefits to the shopper, increase trial, sales and brand awareness. Manage formal ship testing to ensure product, packaging material, structural integrity and assembly are compatible with the retail supply chain Provide and propose continuous improvement of existing POP vehicles through material/labor reductions and structural improvement Support the MDO Merchandising Specialists (liaisons between Sales & Marketing) through all activities associated with the display development process from concept through successful manufacturing, co-packing, and deployment. Responsibilities include: ideation, project development, generation of specifications, vendor management, ship testing, traveling to co-packers for start-ups, etc... Work closely with wide array of cross functional teams such as Brand, Sales, Project Managers, external Structural Designers, Graphic Designers, Internal Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Vendor Partners. This is a hands-on position, strong multi-tasking capabilities, ability to shift gears easily. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Willing and available to travel, sometimes on short notice.- Skills

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $53.95 - $53.95/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
