work and how you treat people matter just as much. We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, dependable, collaborative, curious, and resourceful . You don't need to know everything, but you should be willing to research what you don't know, ask thoughtful questions, communicate when you need help, take feedback well, and follow something through rather than waiting for someone else to notice it. We want someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Our projects require ongoing collaboration between designers, clients, contractors, vendors, and trades. Being able to communicate effectively, share information, support teammates, and work toward the best overall project outcome is essential. The right person notices the details while still understanding the bigger design intent. You care whether something looks beautiful, but you also care whether it fits, functions, can be installed correctly, aligns with the client's priorities and budget, and arrives when the project needs it. Above all, we are looking for someone we can trust. That means being honest, dependable, accountable for your work, respectful of our clients and teammates, and willing to speak up when something does not look right. Mistakes and challenges happen in design and construction. We believe integrity is demonstrated in how we communicate, take responsibility, and work together to solve them. Our goal is not simply to deliver beautiful spaces. We want our clients to feel heard, supported, informed, and confident in the team they have trusted with their project. Growth Opportunity This role is intended to grow with the right person. Initially, you'll work closely with our Principal Designer and experienced team members while learning KDD's processes, standards, vendors, and approach to client service and project execution. As your capabilities develop, there is opportunity to take increasing ownership of sourcing, documentation, client presentations, project coordination, and eventually larger portions of projects. For someone who wants to build a career in full-service interior design and gain meaningful exposure to projects from concept through completion, this position offers the opportunity to learn by actively participating in the work. To Apply Please submit your resume and design portfolio or work samples , along with a brief introduction telling us about your experience, what interests you about joining Kim Dee Designs, and what you believe you would bring to our team. For portfolio submissions, we're particularly interested in seeing examples that demonstrate your design thinking, space planning, technical and documentation skills, sourcing, and presentation abilities , not simply finished project photography.
