BMI INTERIOR DESIGNER

DESCRIPTION:

reThink Interiors and Lifestyle is a design-build firm located in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in residential and commercial design-build projects. We are seeking a Designer to support our team in the drawing phases of our client projects. You will be involved in SketchUp drawing, CAD, spec book and look book phases. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow within our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist owner and lead designers on projects in all aspects, including: drawing 2D and 3D areas, creating and presenting deliverables for each phase, taking detailed notes in all meetings. Possible sourcing and coordinating installation, obtaining samples, and vendor correspondence. Working directly with owner and lead designers to ensure seamless completion of a project and timely execution of designs. Taking on a deep sense of partnership and ownership of projects with your lead designer. Possible other task assistance to owner

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1-year experience in Sketchup and CAD training Degree in Interior Design Develop code-compliant designs; construction document standards, including standard dimensions, clearances, and terminology (i.e., section, elevation, RCP, etc.) Must be able to create drawings calling out construction details, including finishes, dimensions and required information related to the spec book Ability to space plan, field measure and read blueprints Ability to problem solve and strong attention to detail Ability to engage and work seamlessly with others; to include clients, contractors, vendors, coworkers, etc. Able to handle deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment Portfolio to present

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
