Sales & Design Assistant Melaaura | Los Angeles, CA About Us Melaaura is a luxury furniture showroom specializing in high-end Italian and European furniture, offering bespoke design services and custom furniture solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional client experience from first consultation through final installation. Position Overview We are seeking a talented and client-focused Sales & Design Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience in furniture or interior design sales, a strong aesthetic sensibility, and the technical skills to translate client visions into compelling design presentations. Responsibilities Welcome and assist walk-in clients, providing a refined and knowledgeable showroom experience Manage email inquiries and follow up with clients in a timely and professional manner Offer expert product knowledge and thoughtful design guidance tailored to each client's project Prepare detailed design drawings, space plans, and custom layouts using AutoCAD Collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored design solutions that align with their vision and budget Maintain impeccable showroom presentation and support day-to-day sales operations Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in furniture sales, interior design, or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with additional design software a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for design and a keen eye for detail Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously What We Offer A dynamic, design-forward work environment Competitive compensation at $30 per hour plus commission Access to exclusive luxury brands and industry resources Opportunity to grow within a boutique, high-end showroom
