Job Description

This is an ideal position for someone with a background in kitchen & bath design, interior design, residential remodeling, or luxury home furnishings who enjoys both client interaction and project coordination. Son Cabinetry & Design has been designing and installing beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and custom cabinetry throughout the Coachella Valley for over 25 years. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Manager to become an important part of our growing team.

This is not just a retail position. You will be the first impression of our company, helping create an exceptional experience for every client while supporting our sales, design, and project management team. Responsibilities Welcome clients into our showroom and create an outstanding first impression. Manage the daily operations and presentation of the showroom. Schedule consultations, design appointments, field measures, and follow-up meetings. Assist clients with cabinet finishes, hardware, countertop, and material selections. Maintain client communication throughout the design process. Prepare estimates, proposals, and project documents. Assist with Buildertrend updates, client notes, and scheduling. Coordinate with designers, installers, vendors, and subcontractors. Follow up with leads, prospective clients, and existing customers. Help maintain showroom displays, samples, pricing, and organization. Assist with marketing initiatives, social media content, and showroom events. Answer phones, emails, and general customer inquiries. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, polished, and professional Exceptionally organized Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Detail-oriented A strong communicator both in person and by email Comfortable working with homeowners, contractors, designers, and vendors Self-motivated with excellent follow-through Passionate about interior design, kitchens, cabinetry, and home remodeling Experience with Buildertrend, 2020 Design, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. Qualifications Excellent computer skills Strong written and verbal communication Professional appearance Valid driver's license Ability to lift cabinetry samples (approximately 25 lbs.) Ability to work Saturdays as needed
