Senior Interior Designer, Interiors AVRP Studios is looking for talented design professionals in San Diego, CA. Known for our innovative and award-winning work, we are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, that are creative by nature and possess Revit production proficiency. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented design professionals of the firm, supported by freedom to exercise creativity and sense of purpose. Your work will influence our clients and bring our experience and knowledge to every project and every interaction. And finally, you will have a deep understanding of technology, building performance, and sustainability strategies in design and construction. Reports to Principal or Studio Director Takes Direction from Principal, Design; Director, Design; Project Manager Education Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Interior Design or Architecture, from an accredited university. Required Experience 10+ years of experience in Interior Architecture & Design. Accreditation/Registration/Licensure or Pursuing Accreditation/Registration/Licensure preferred.Qualification/Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications Basic computer, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to create complete presentation packages are essential. Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills:- Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop.
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred.
- Proficiency in of Adobe Suite and Sketch up graphic software.
- Knowledge of 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Lumion. Responsibilities
- Developing professional networks and new business opportunities.
- Responsibilities include collaborating across disciplines and market sectors in project delivery, clearly presenting and documenting design concepts to client stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of materials, color, lighting, texture, graphics, FF&E, and interior construction to develop engaging designs that are tailored to AVRP Studios' project's unique context and client culture.
- Advocate for improving and maintaining project excellence and delivery.
- May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff and deliver staff performance evaluations.
- Contributes to office activities and involved in design community organizations.
