PART-TIME SHOWROOM ATTENDANT
Threads | San Diego, CA Threads is a design showroom specializing in home fabrics, custom furnishings, and reupholstery. We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and personable part-time Showroom Attendant to help keep our showroom organized and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an appreciation for design, and is looking for a steady, hands-on part-time position in a professional and creative environment. Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and designers and help them navigate the showroom
  • Receive shipments and make sure materials get to the appropriate subcontractor or project
  • Keep the showroom clean, organized, and beautifully presented
  • Organize and maintain fabric and material samples. Follow up with people who have checked out samples
  • Check on the status of orders and follow up as needed.
Stuff and arrange pillows. Meet with subcontractors and hand off their work and materials. Help coordinate samples, materials, orders, and projects moving through the showroom. Assist with general showroom organization and daily tasks
What We're Looking For :
Dependable and punctual
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with clients and designers
  • Someone who takes initiative and sees what needs to be done
  • Comfortable making phone calls and following up with people
  • Responsible and able to work independently
  • An appreciation for fabrics, interiors, color, and design
  • Previous experience in interior design, furnishings, textiles, or a showroom is a plus, but not required Most importantly, we're looking for someone dependable, steady, and genuinely interested in being part of a small business.
This is not a high-pressure sales position. It's a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, helping people, and making sure the showroom operates smoothly.
