Job Description

DUTIES:
Sell Scavolini brand kitchens, baths and closets while maintaining a keen eye on numbers and business profitability. Manage the sales/design process in all phases, including interaction with managers and Installers Rapidly activate professional network to promote the Scavolini brand as well as ensure a sales presence in the Scavolini Detroit showroom handling daily sales Technical Design & Drafting Must be able to support the technical design of kitchen, bath, and closet cabinetry. Create, modify, and finalize CAD drawings, renderings, and construction documents for kitchen, bath, and closet projects using Scavolini software and CAD. Prepare detailed shop drawings, order quoting, and order acknowledgements with a high level of accuracy. Must be comfortable with cabinet nomenclature and specification. Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas. Project Coordination Manage the technical details of orders and projects after the sale is made through project completion, coordinating with production and installation teams. Coordinate directly with vendors and manufacturers on lead times, product specifications, and availability. Manage revisions through the approval process, updating drawings and specifications and re-issuing for sign-off as changes are requested. Maintain organized project documentation for each order, including specifications, revisions, and approvals, from sale through completion. Self-check own work for accuracy and review final orders before sign-off. Site Visits & Installation Support Conduct on-site measurements and assist with layout verification as needed. Provide technical troubleshooting during installation when on-site conditions don't match the original drawing or specification. Team Collaboration Assist sales team in showroom with design presentation set up, clean up, and technical note taking where requested. Organized, creative, collaborative, and independent with ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Continuous Learning Stay current on new product lines, materials, and software updates. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, CAD, SketchUp (or similar programs). Minimum 2 years of experience at other kitchen showrooms, in a technical design or drafting capacity. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once. Strong attention to detail, both on site and throughout the design process. Develop detailed knowledge of all product lines and features. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to manage tasks independently but can collaborate as a team member and with trades on site. Arrives to work and job sites on time. Able to meet deadlines. Able to adapt to needs of showroom and clients. Working 40 hours a week in showroom, some Saturdays may be required .
