Job Description

Position Overview:
Showroom Manager's main duties consist of working diligently to achieve monthly and annual sales goals. They are expected to be the front line of educating the clients on our products and offering the level of service that is required from Scavolini FLL (Fort Lauderdale) and the high-end clientele we work with. This service should extend through all parts of the relationship with the client from the genesis of the project to after they've received their order.
Main duties:
Strong understanding to maintain showroom and branding standards of Scavolini brand kitchens, baths and closets while maintaining a keen eye on numbers and business profitability. Oversee and standardize the design team's appearance and conduct., including interaction with managers and Installers Rapidly activate professional network to promote the Scavolini brand as well as ensure a sales presence in the Scavolini Detroit showroom handling daily sales. Maintain the slook of the showroom. Client Experience & Sales Readily and happily assist clients who are visiting the showroom. Help clients select products based on their needs, product specifications, and regulations. Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, technical knowledge of product capabilities, and limitations. Follow up with clients to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns. Oversee sales for the FLL showroom, making sure that monthly targets are met. Visit job sites/residences with a designer to assist with layout, measurements, and selection as well as final installation. Assist in resolving customer complaints and claim issues with clients with necessary assistance from the Installation Manager or Operation Manager. Technical Design & Drafting Must be able to support the technical design of kitchen, bath, and closet cabinetry. Create, modify, and finalize CAD drawings, renderings, and construction documents for kitchen, bath, and closet projects using Scavolini software and CAD. Prepare detailed shop drawings, order quoting, and order acknowledgements with a high level of accuracy. Must be comfortable with cabinet nomenclature and specification. Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas. Project Coordination & Business Development Develop and nurture relationships with designers through outside presentations, emails, etc. A minimum of 1 outside presentation is to be made per month to A& D. Creating a database of all architects, designers and any end consumer that either visit our stores or website regardless of making a purchase or not. Coordinate directly with vendors and manufacturers on lead times, product specifications, and availability. Maintain organized project documentation for each order, including specifications, revisions, and approvals, from sale through completion. Site Visits & Installation Support Conduct on-site measurements and assist with layout verification as needed. Provide technical troubleshooting during installation when on-site conditions don't match the original drawing or specification. Team Leadership Continually develop an understanding of the company's culture, products, ethical initiatives and reflect this in everyday performance. Conducts sales training with new designers. Organize and track all designers' scheduling of both work and vacations, making sure that the showroom always has at least 1 person in any given day. Conducting semi-monthly meetings with the design team and duly reporting to owner. Keep the staff motivated at all times, creating new leads, providing with helpful sales tools, monitoring technical processes to make sure proposals are delivered on time and challenging their results. Assist team in showroom with design presentation set up, clean up, and technical note taking where requested. Organized, creative, collaborative, and independent with ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Continuous Learning Remain current on industry trends, materials, and emerging design resources. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continually develop professionally within the team.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of direct experience at other kitchen showrooms, in a sales, design, or management capacity. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, CAD, SketchUp (or similar programs). Proven track record in business development, with demonstrated success building and growing relationships with architects, interior designers, and high-end clientele. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once. Strong attention to detail, both on site and throughout the design and sales process. Strong leadership, communication, and listening skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team while collaborating with trades and other departments on site. Arrives to work and job sites on time. Able to meet deadlines and sales targets. Able to adapt to needs of showroom and clients. Working 40 hours a week in showroom, some Saturdays may be required.
