In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing interior design projects across various sectors, with a focus on residential interiors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in CAD software, 3D modeling, and construction documentation, alongside excellent client communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative design solutions while managing multiple projects from inception through completion. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget constraints for residential interior design projects. Develop comprehensive design concepts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max. Create detailed construction documents and drawings that adhere to building codes and regulations. Produce high-quality renderings and visual presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of design solutions. Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local safety standards and building regulations. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers during renovation or remodeling phases to facilitate smooth project execution. Prepare detailed construction documentation including specifications for lighting sales, materials, and finishes. Oversee the development of interior layouts that optimize space utilization while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Engage in client communication throughout the project lifecycle to provide updates and incorporate feedback. Support sales efforts by presenting design proposals and managing contracts related to interior projects. Skills Proficiency in Revit software. Strong understanding of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project management. Expertise in drafting and creating detailed construction documentation for renovation or remodeling projects. Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering to visualize concepts effectively. Knowledge of building code compliance, safety standards, and legal requirements related to interior spaces. Ability to apply color theory principles and graphic design skills to enhance aesthetic outcomes. Experience with lighting design principles and lighting sales processes. Excellent project management capabilities with a focus on managing multiple concurrent projects. Effective client communication skills coupled with professional art or design background.
