Full-Time About the Role We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to lead the design and styling of model and display homes for our builder and custom builder clients. In this role, you'll shape the first impression buyers have of a builder's product — creating spaces that showcase lifestyle, drive emotional connection, and support sales goals. This position requires frequent travel to project sites. What You'll Do Design and furnish model/display homes from concept through installation, including space planning, furniture selection, finishes, lighting, and accessories Develop design concepts and mood boards that align with each builder's brand, target buyer demographic, and price point Produce comprehensive Construction Documentation per project using autocad software Source furniture, art, and decor from vendors and showrooms, managing budgets and timelines for each project Coordinate with builders, sales teams, general contractors, and installation crews to ensure design vision is executed on schedule Travel to project sites for walkthroughs, installs, and styling — included overnight travel as needed Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different markets and timelines Stay current on design trends, buyer preferences, and competitor model homes in target markets Present design concepts and budgets to builder clients and incorporate feedback Oversee final staging and styling to ensure a polished, market-ready presentation What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field. 2-5+ years of experience in interior design. Model home, hospitality, or residential staging experience preferred Strong space planning and furniture layout skills Proficiency in design software, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools Excellent vendor relationships and sourcing skills; ability to manage budgets Strong communication and presentation
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
