Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will bring clients' visions to life by creating stunning, functional kitchen and bathroom spaces that blend aesthetic appeal with practical efficiency. The candidate must have experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design and sales. The candidate will be responsible for delivering design and material knowledge and expertise to our customers from beginning to end. Familiarity with up to date trends and product knowledge on home improvement and design is desired as well. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to deliver exceptional remodeling and renovation solutions that enhance everyday living for our customers. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive design concepts and Produce high-quality renderings and visual presentations for kitchens and bathrooms utilizing using 2020 Design software Manage multiple residential projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high standards of quality. Conduct site visits for measurements, and client consultations to ensure designs align with space realities and client expectations. Collaborate closely with clients and contractors to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints in a professional manner Accurate field measurement Accurate order placement Ability to multi-task Requirements Proven experience in kitchen and bath design within residential interior projects. Proficiency in 2020 design software Effective communication skills for client and contractor interaction and team collaboration; experience in managing client expectations is preferred. Associates or College Degree in interior design or related field (preferred). Experience in kitchen and bath design Cabinetry knowledge and other design/remodeling materials (countertops, tile, etc.) Strong sales and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Reliable transportation to and from work and to job sites for field measure and consultations Ability to work 5 days a week. There may be an occasional weekend day to accommodate customer schedules, which will allow for 1 day off during the week. -We will provide on-site training with manufacturer reps on materials we handle and sell when needed. -Competitive hourly pay plus commissions and benefits.
