Job Title:
Interior Designer Job Description As an Interior Designer, you will assist in the ideation, conceptual, and schematic design development of various commercial projects. You will participate in the design, production, and construction documentation phases throughout the lifecycle of projects, ensuring that design intents are met and deliverables are concise and accurate. Your role involves working with senior staff to coordinate designs, addressing revisions, and completing design documents. You will also manage construction administration tasks, including RFIs, project submittals, and site visits, while maintaining positive client relationships. Responsibilities Assist in the conceptual and schematic design development of commercial projects. Participate in the design, production, and construction documentation phases. Follow standard drafting practices to achieve design intent and deliverables. Coordinate with senior staff to address revisions and complete design documents. Work within established project schedules and staff resources efficiently. Assist with construction administration tasks such as RFIs, project submittals, and site visits. Meet project schedules and maintain positive relationships with clients and project teams. Essential Skills Proficient in Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office Applications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work as part of a team or independently. Bachelor's degree in interior design or interior architecture. Minimum 3-5+ years of related experience with workplace projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications NCIDQ Certified or on track with certification. Versatile, self-motivated, and articulate. Strong interest in continued professional growth. Work Environment Work five days onsite in a dynamic Seaport office. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
