Duties Engage with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budgets through proactive communication and personalized consultations Present product demos, lighting solutions, and layout options using 3-D Planner and other design software to illustrate concepts clearly and compellingly Develop detailed interior layouts and renovation plans that incorporate lighting design, remodeling, fixture sales, and construction insights Upsell high-end products and services by highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions tailored to client needs Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, customer relationship building, and account management within CRM systems Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and construction teams to ensure seamless remodeling projects while maintaining quality standards Follow up with clients post-sale for satisfaction surveys, maintenance tips, and future remodeling or renovation opportunities Skills Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales with a focus on high-end or construction-related products Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), CRM systems, and POS platforms for efficient workflow management Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while upselling additional products or services Some knowledge of color theory, fabrics and leathers, layout design techniques, remodeling processes Excellent communication skills for client consultation, product demos, and team collaboration Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Basic math skills for retail math calculations including discounts, pricing strategies, and measurements Customer service expertise to foster long-term relationships through personalized support and professional advice Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets strategic sales!
