You will be responsible for guiding clients through the design process, creating detailed plans, and delivering exceptional customer service. This paid position is ideal for someone eager to make a tangible impact on residential remodeling projects while honing their skills in design and client communication. Hourly pay plus commission. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen and bathroom renovations Develop detailed design concepts using 2020 Design Create a work order for customers and oversee the project to complete Provide expert knowledge of kitchen, bathrooms, countertops and flooring Manage multiple design projects from concept through installation, maintaining clear communication with clients and contractors Assist in product selection, including lighting fixtures and materials Work showroom hours including some nights and weekends in a retail store setting Work closely with sales manager to set personal goals and generate leads for new jobs Qualifications Proven experience in residential interior design projects Knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code compliance processes Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory and lighting design Excellent client communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets Background in renovation or remodeling projects with construction or trades experience is highly desirable Join us to bring innovative kitchen and bath designs to life!
