  • The BDA team is under renovation and we're hoping YOU are the upgrade we need.
We've surveyed the room, listened to our end users, and the verdict is in: it's time to hire an interior designer who's ready to make an impact. Welcome to the SPO - the St. Pete Office. Located near the beautiful St. Petersburg Pier, our Florida branch comprises of a dynamic group of three local architects supported by over thirty teammates across two Pennsylvania offices. In your new home, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse variety of projects throughout Florida as well as in our hometown tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. You won't simply be joining an office - you'll have a hand in shaping its future. Designed around YOU It's more than our professional motto - it's our personal one too. We don't just design buildings, we design family. That means prioritizing work-life balance, employee satisfaction, flexibility and opportunities to grow. You'll have access to:
  • Hybrid work opportunities and flexible schedules designed around real life.
  • Employee-run committees focused on wellness, appreciation, education and professional development.
  • Continuing education opportunities that encourage you to grow.
  • Technical process reviews where everyone has the opportunity to learn and contribute,

Own your Projects We're looking for a leader, a go-getter, a relationship builder - someone who wants to be involved not just from concept to construction but from conversation to connection. You'll meet with clients both in person and virtually to learn about their goals, present concepts and manage expectations to create something both beautiful and achievable. You'll inspire the mind but protect the reality by producing compelling inspiration presentations and photo-realistic renderings, tempered with thoughtful space plans and efficient material selections. You'll maintain and update the finish library, meet with reps, then develop project-specific finish schemes and compile finish presentations/boards. And you won't do it alone. You'll collaborate within your own department as well as with junior designers, administrative staff, interns, architects, draftspersons, engineers and vendors.
