We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and technically skilled Interior Designer to join our team and support the execution of high-end residential projects from concept through installation This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both the creative and operational sides of design and is excited to help bring beautiful, functional homes to life. Position Overview This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX. The position requires local travel throughout the Austin area for client meetings, vendor visits, project walkthroughs, installations, and material selections. When not traveling locally, work will primarily be remote. We are looking for someone with strong residential interior design experience who can independently manage design tasks while collaborating closely with our team. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive build-out and design packages for residential new construction and remodel projects Create material and finish selections including flooring, tile, paint, cabinetry, hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, furniture, and decor Prepare finish schedules, spec sheets, annotated plans, and client presentation materials Produce detailed SketchUp models and visual presentations for clients and project teams Collaborate with builders, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent is executed accurately Conduct site visits, install days, vendor meetings, and project walkthroughs throughout the Austin area Coordinate selections and sourcing while adhering to client budgets and project timelines Update documentation and selections as projects evolve Support the overall growth and organization of the studio through strong communication and project coordination Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required 3+ years of residential interior design experience required Experience working on full-scale residential new construction and/or remodel projects required Strong SketchUp skills are
REQUIRED
AutoCAD experience is a plus Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and presentation software preferred Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and residential design workflows Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively Strong communication and client-facing skills Portfolio submission required for consideration Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $70,000+ annually Compensation is flexible and may be adjusted based on experience, technical skillset, and overall value brought to the team PTO package Paid federal holidays Health benefits stipend Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates moving to Austin Schedule Full-time Part-time Hybrid role: Local travel throughout Austin required Remote work when not attending meetings, installs, or site visits How to Apply Please submit: Resume Portfolio/work samples highlighting residential projects Brief introduction about your experience Email applications to:
