Qualifications:
National Interpreter Certification (NIC), EIPA, or equivalent certification required Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience in an educational environment preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to new settings swiftly and professionally
Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and faculty Interpret classroom instruction, school meetings, and extracurricular activities Foster a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere Collaborate with teams to support student achievement Maintain confidentiality and promote positive relationships within the school community
