In this rewarding, full-time, onsite contract position, you will work one-on-one with students, supporting access to classroom content and communications. Key Requirements:

Valid and current ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher Proficient in interpreting spoken English to American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa Experience providing 1:1 interpretation services, ideally in educational settings Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Professionalism, adaptability, and a passion for supporting students success

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver precise ASL interpretation for a student in various classroom settings Facilitate communication between students, teachers, peers, and support personnel Support students understanding of academic content, activities, and assignments Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines for educational interpreters Participate in meetings and collaborate with school team members to address student needs Act as a language and cultural bridge, promoting educational access and engagement
