Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter - Telehealth Job Type Contract A skilled Sign Language Interpreter is sought for a telehealth role supporting a 14-year-old student in Parrish, AL. This contract position involves delivering effective communication access through sign language interpretation within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for telehealth sessions, ensuring comprehension between the student and healthcare providers. Facilitate communication that supports the student's educational and health-related needs. Coordinate with remote professionals to maintain smooth and consistent communication flow. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience with telehealth interpretation. Previous work within school environments preferred. Strong understanding of educational terminology and healthcare communication. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Sensitivity and adaptability to the unique needs of young students.

Work hours:
