Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Familiarity with providing interpretation in educational settings Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in schools is highly valued Comfortable interpreting both one-on-one and in classroom group settings Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and staff National or state interpreter certification preferred, but not always required
