What Were Looking For:

Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language, with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher Previous experience supporting students in school settings as a Sign Language Interpreter Skills in providing clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate communication for students, educators, and staff Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere Strong commitment to student success and accessible education

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one sign language interpretation for students throughout the school day Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff, supporting both classroom instruction and extracurricular activities Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times Adapt to a variety of educational settings and content areas as needed Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
