Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within educational settings Previous teaching or assisting experience with ASL preferred Ability to interpret spoken language accurately and effectively in a school environment Strong interpersonal communication skills Arizona interpreter certification or equivalent credentials encouraged
What You'll Do:
Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation during classes, school activities, and special events Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to support instructional goals Help facilitate clear communication between students, educators, and families Provide accessible classroom instruction by interpreting lectures, discussions, and multimedia content Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
