The role offers competitive pay up to $50 per hour and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instructional sign language interpretation for students in a school setting Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate effective communication Ensure accurate and timely interpretation during classroom activities and events Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Support students' educational experience with exemplary interpretation services
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. Valid driver's license (front and back) Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back) Social Security Card CPR certification from an accredited agency (in person required) First Aid certification from an accredited agency (in person required) Minimum 1 year providing instructional interpretation in a school environment Completion of an Interpreter Training program Ability to work day shifts in a school setting Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to pass background checks and compliance requirements Soft skills: adaptability, professionalism, teamwork
