Desired Qualifications:

NAD Certification or EIPA Certification with a score of 4.0 or above (required) Proficiency in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English Previous experience interpreting in school settings is preferred Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and staff Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, educators, and peers using ASL Interpret classroom instruction, school events, and activities for K-12 students Collaborate with educational teams to adapt interpreting strategies for various learning environments Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards Support students' social and academic inclusion across the school day This position entails working at a single campus with a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week.
