Experience and Skills Sought:

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide accurate, expressive interpretation between spoken English and ASL for students, staff, and families in classrooms and various school settings Support students access to curriculum and facilitate clear communication among all participants Collaborate with teachers and support staff to understand lesson content and student needs Maintain accurate records in compliance with school protocols Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Adjust interpreting style to suit each assignment, ensuring clarity and understanding A full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week allows you to truly engage with students and staff, making a meaningful difference each day.
