Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf, EIPA 4.0+, ESSE-I/R, or

NAD/ACCI

assessment required; EIPA under 4.0 may be considered as ASL Para Ability to facilitate communication and provide interpreting services for deaf/hard-of-hearing students Experience or comfort working in both middle and high school settings Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Flexible and adaptive to varying classroom needs

Responsibilities/Duties:

Interpret sign to voice and voice to sign communication in classrooms Assist students with academic work, including reading, writing, and math Support students in developing vocational and independent living skills Monitor and support students during class, outdoor, and community activities Collaborate closely with teachers and school personnel
