Position Overview:

Deliver real-time interpretation between students, staff, and faculty during classroom instruction, activities, and interactions Support students' educational access and participation by adapting communication styles to each situation Collaborate with educators to ensure effective classroom integration for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all settings

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience interpreting in a school setting (elementary or middle school preferred) Valid interpreting certifications (e.g., RID, EIPA) are highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills; able to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families Adaptability and reliability to work in a dynamic academic environment

Your Schedule & Location:

Work on-site in school settings near Escondido, CA Daytime hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm, aligning with the school schedule Serve either elementary or middle school caseloads, based on experience and preference
