Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English (receptive and expressive) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting, preferably at the elementary or middle school level Knowledge of IEP procedures and experience working with educators and support staff RID/NAD certification or the ability to meet state requirements for educational interpreters Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a collaborative approach
