Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or comparable). Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL). Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpreting services for students and staff in the school setting. Facilitate communication between deaf/hard of hearing students and teachers, peers, and administrators. Collaborate with educators and support staff to address student needs and foster inclusivity. Adhere to professional standards and confidentiality guidelines. Assist in school activities and meetings requiring interpretation services.
