This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Sign Language Interpreter, working on-site to provide direct interpreting services for one high school student throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

Interpret classroom instruction and school activities to facilitate clear communication for the assigned student. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and school administrators to ensure appropriate accommodations and access. Support the students participation in academic and extracurricular settings. Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional interpreting standards at all times. Provide feedback and reports as requested to support student progress.

Qualifications:

Active Georgia Educational Interpreter GaPSC Certification required. RID Certification or EIPA score of 3.5 or higher. Prior school-based interpreting experience strongly preferred. Experience working with high school students or individual student assignments is a plus. Full-time weekday availability (MondayFriday; 37.5 hours per week) is essential.
