Desired Qualifications:
Valid EIPA of 3.5 or higher, as recognized in Georgia GAPSC certification (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) Experience interpreting in educational settings with K-12 students Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa for students, teachers, and staff Provide interpretation during instructional activities, assemblies, and meetings as required Support students understanding of classroom content, promoting engagement and inclusion Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students educational goals Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all assignments
Role Details:
37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar Work closely with a diverse team dedicated to student success
