This position is based near Kingston, GA, with the work location in Calhoun, and offers a consistent schedule of 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday, from January 5, 2027, through May 14, 2027.

Qualifications:

Valid GA ASL Interpreter credentials/certifications required. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting for high school age students. Proficiency in American Sign Language, with the ability to facilitate clear, accurate communication. Experience in an educational setting or with adolescent populations is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct sign language interpretation for one high school student during designated classroom hours. Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to ensure accurate delivery of course content. Support the students communication needs during classroom activities, assignments, and interactions with peers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics in all interpreting assignments. Participate in any required meetings or training sessions to enhance service delivery.
