Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled American Sign Language (ASL) Afterschool Instructor to create an engaging, inclusive environment teaching sign language basics, vocabulary, and Deaf culture to students. Key responsibilities include creating lesson plans, implementing interactive games/activities, ensuring child safety, and facilitating communication with peers, often supporting deaf/hard-of-hearing students. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for bridging communication gaps, demonstrate professional ethics, have a strong command of American Sign Language (ASL) and enjoy working with students attending elementary school.
