What You'll Need:

Active Georgia Educational Interpreter Certification or GaPSC Certification RID Certification OR EIPA score of 3.5 or above Previous experience as a school-based Sign Language Interpreter (preferred) Availability for the full contract period (ASAP - May 28, 2027) Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to student-centered support

Your Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one interpretation services throughout the school day to a high school student Ensure accurate and effective communication between student, peers, and school staff Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, assemblies, and extracurricular activities as needed Collaborate with educators and school teams to ensure an inclusive learning environment Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all relevant educational and professional guidelines Remain on-site to provide dedicated support during school hours (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week) You'll be welcomed into a collaborative, supportive school environment where your expertise ensures every student has full access to their education.
