Repair and maintain golf course equipment including reel mowers, rotary mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles. Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, belt inspections, and adjustments. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Sharpen and grind reels, mower blades, and bed knives. Set and maintain proper Height of Cut (HOC) on all mowing equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop work environment. Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair cost records for each piece of equipment. Manage parts inventory and operate within budget guidelines. Knowledge of golf course or landscaping equipment preferred. Welding skills a plus. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and safety. Certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience. Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Occasionally sits, climbs or balances. Regularly talks or hears. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally may lift up to100 pounds. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); with toxic or caustic materials; in extreme cold or heat (non-weather); may experience vibration. Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions and may face the risk of electrical shock or encounter fumes or airborne pathogens. Frequently works in areas near moving mechanical parts.
