Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred RID Certification or EIPA Score (as required by state guidelines) Ability to foster effective communication between students, staff, and families Adaptability and collaboration in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation and transliteration services in various school settings Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and educators Support classroom instruction and individual student needs Collaborate with teachers and student support teams Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines
