Duties Provide on-site interpretation services in Target Languages across multiple environments such as healthcare facilities, educational institutions, legal settings, or community events. Facilitate both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation to ensure seamless communication between clients, staff, and stakeholders. Conduct educational and cultural interpretation to enhance understanding of diverse backgrounds and contexts. Maintain strict adherence to professional ethics, confidentiality, and impartiality during all interpretation activities. Utilize interpretation tools such as over-the-phone interpretation platforms when necessary to support remote communication needs. Demonstrate strong communication skills by accurately conveying messages while respecting linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality standards and continuous improvement of interpretation services. Demonstrated expertise in interpretation techniques including consecutive, simultaneous, and over-the-phone interpretation. Strong understanding of linguistic principles, cultural competency, and professional ethics related to interpretation services. Prior experience working in diverse settings such as healthcare, legal, educational or community organizations is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt language use based on context and audience. Knowledge of translation tools and terminology management for accurate and efficient service delivery.
