Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. Duties Prepare ingredients and components for menu items following standardized recipes and portion sizes Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes during service hours Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout food production Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients according to specifications and assisting with special dietary requests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination during busy service periods Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience with food handling, meal prep, and operating various kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in food quality Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Culinary experience or training that demonstrates a passion for cooking and attention to detail is a plus Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is advantageous but not required Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence!
