Key Qualifications:

Experience as a professional Sign Language Interpreter in educational environments. Background supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom or one-on-one settings. Current ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) Approval or IDHHC (Illinois Deaf & Hard of Hearing Commission) credentials required (PEL not needed). Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to foster connections across diverse learning needs.

What You'll Do:

Facilitate clear and effective communication between students, educators, and peers using sign language.
