Desired Qualifications:

3.5 EIPA & ISBE certification

OR 3.0+ EIPA

with IBSE approval Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting Strong commitment to fostering communication accessibility for students Willingness to travel and adapt to new educational environments

Responsibilities:

Provide sign language interpretation for high school students in mainstream classrooms Collaborate with education staff to promote full student participation Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Support students' learning and inclusion from start dates ASAP through end of assigned contract dates (Harvard site until 5/30/27; Burlington site until 5/21/27) Ensure compliance with IEP requirements and district guidelines

Burlington, IL:

0.35 FTE (12:30-3:00pm, Monday-Friday)

Harvard, IL:

0.5 FTE (11:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday)
