Key Qualifications:
Current proficiency and certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI). Experience providing interpreting services in school settings (preferred). Ability to efficiently facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers. Comfort with individualized (1:1) assignments and adapting to student needs. Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to school schedules.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver sign language interpretation for a single student during scheduled school hours, Monday through Friday, 8:25am-3:25pm. Foster an inclusive learning environment by ensuring effective communication. Collaborate with educational teams and participate in school-related functions. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
