American Family Insurance - Kimberly Dandridge Agency, LLC Base pay: $20/hour Compensation type: Hourly + commission Expected annual earnings: $42,000-$55,000 (based on hourly base + typical commission performance) Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (On-Site) Position Overview The Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting agency growth by identifying prospective customers, presenting insurance solutions, and closing sales. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated, customer‑focused, and interested in building a long‑term career in the insurance industry. You will work directly with clients, respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and help ensure a smooth and positive customer experience. Duties Identify and engage prospective customers through phone, email, referrals, and in‑person interactions. Present insurance products and solutions based on customer needs and coverage goals. Prepare accurate quotes, conduct coverage reviews, and follow up on leads. Respond to customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable guidance on policies and options. Maintain detailed and accurate customer records within agency systems and CRM tools. Support policy changes, renewals, and service requests. Collaborate with team members to improve sales processes and customer experience. Assist with onboarding or training new team members on products, systems, and service best practices. Qualifications & Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven customer service ability with a focus on building trust and resolving concerns. Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, needs‑based selling, and closing opportunities. Experience in training, leadership, or sales management is a plus. Basic proficiency with office software, CRM tools, and willingness to learn insurance systems. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical business practices. Reliable attendance and ability to work on‑site in Tinley Park, IL. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is preferred. Illinois Property/Casualty and Life insurance licenses are preferred but not required. Motivated candidates can be supported through the licensing process.
