Desired Skills and Experience:

Hold a valid Illinois Sign Language Interpreter license. Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to accurately interpret spoken language in a school setting. Previous experience interpreting at the high school level is highly valued. Awareness of confidentiality procedures and sensitivity to student needs. Committed to punctuality, reliability, and collaboration with educators and school staff. Familiarity with any additional state or district requirements for interpreters (such as a Professional Educator License, Para Cert, or relevant certifications).
