Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in sign language interpretation to a vibrant school-based setting near Fort Wayne, IN as a contract professional. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in helping Deaf and Hard of Hearing students access classroom content, engage in school events, and participate fully in their educational journey. You'll work alongside educators, special education staff, and families to ensure seamless communication and inclusion for every student you support.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or credential as a Sign Language Interpreter Familiarity with school settings or prior experience working with children preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Resourcefulness and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality Strong team player with the adaptability to support diverse student needs
