Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language with an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher (required) Demonstrated experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in schools, preferably 1:1 Ability to adapt communication style to meet individual student needs Commitment to confidentiality and ethical interpreting practices Flexibility, reliability, and strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one interpreting services for a student in classroom and school settings Foster a supportive and respectful environment that facilitates communication and inclusion Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support and best practices Accurately interpret instructional materials and social interactions throughout the school day Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and professional standards
